Nikhil Rana started Chirps & Whistle at 18, out of love for pets. When he bought pets himself, the shops told him nothing about caring for them, not even whether they were male or female. He started his own shop to change that.
Thirteen years on, every family that takes a pet home from us gets the facts: the gender, the health check and how to care for them. That is the trust the shop is built on.
Nikhil is also an advocate registered at the Delhi High Court. He finished his studies while running the shop, and this is still his favourite work.
